Do I have to download any of the course material in order to start? All our courses are delivered on real time. This means the content runs straight off the web; therefore you don't have to download anything as they run straight off the Web. This allows you to access your courses from any computer that has Internet access. However, some of our Soft-Skill courses may require you to download a player/plug-in. What is a player/plug-in, and why do I need it? Players/Plug-Ins are software programs that extend the capabilities of your browser in a specific way. The Player/Plug-In offered on our site allows you to play multimedia content without having to load a CD. How can I get the Player/Plug-In? The courses usually automatically prompt you to download the relevant Plug-In when you reach the relevant part of the course which requires you to have the Plug-In. I can't download the Authorware player. If you are having problems downloading the Authorware Plug-In please try and download it straight from the Macromedia site. When downloading the player/plug-in, I am getting a white screen with a red "X". This red "X" is most likely caused by the settings in your browser. Change your security setting to medium. Security can be found in your browser options under "Edit" in Netscape or "View" in Internet Explorer. |
